Plant

Our production plant is located in Corredor de Etoxilación between the complexes "The Cangrejera" and "Morelos" (PEMEX Petroquímica), Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. The plant facilities cover an area of 100,000 m2 with a production capacity of more than 50,000 tons of products per year.

In our plant, we have leading edge technology to produce Betacel®H (Hydroxyethyl Cellulose), which is a specialty chemical produced currently only by four multinational companies. GPB is the only Latin American company producing it.

Application Laboratories

We have application laboratories for:

Building Materials.

Water-based paints and coating.

Personal care and household products.

Concrete Laboratory.

In our application laboratories we provide technical service to our customers by:

• Assessing the functionality and quality of our products to ensure that we meet our customer's requirements and expectations.

• Responding to requests and needs related to the use of our products.

• Making application testing and simulation of industrial testing. We have the necessary equipment and trained staff to evaluate the performance of our products in various formulations.

Center for Research, Development and Innovation (CIDIT, For its acronym in Spanish)

In the Department of Research, Development and Innovation:

We develop proprietary technology for generating innovative products.

We have teams capable of reproducing the in-plant production conditions, ensuring a proper scaling of the processes.

We have the ability to design customized products, either with a focus on physicochemical specifications or with a focus on functionality for specific applications..

We have a pilot plant, which is equipped with four reactors that can perform: esterification, polymerization, distillation, purification, neutralization, and mixing. Additionally, we can perform physical treatments such as grinding, drying, and centrifuging.

Staff for Research and Development is a team with extensive experience in developing Propoxylation and ethoxylation processes. As an example, they have developed technologies for the production of hydroxyethyl cellulose, synthetic lubricants, and high molecular weight polyalkylene glycols.
